I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New year.  Meetings start again on Tuesday with our traditional quiz evening.  This year we are going back to our DIY quizzes for a more relaxed and social evening. See you there.

surveyIt’s new year and time for resolutions and that includes the WIs annual shortlist of resolutions which are now published on our site under the Resolutions tab at the top of this page and can also be found in your copy of WI life or on the National WI Website.

Please take time to read and consider all six.  At our February meeting  we will vote for the one we would most like to go forward for further discussion and final voting at the Annual Meeting in June 2017.

Christmas meeting and outing

Tomorrowvegetabel.jpg is our last meeting before Christmas so I hope you can join us for Vegetable Carving, who knows what we could create but it sounds fun, maybe a snowman from a parsnip !

 

 


Friday 16th December

A few of us are having a trip into London and if anyone would like to join us you are more than welcome.  We will meet under the clock at Waterloo at 10.40am.  We will spend sometime at the Winter market on the south bank.

Then head along the south bank to Borough Market finding somewhere of lunch on the way and then on by bus to see the Christmas display at the Geffrye Musuem,

Final stop if we have time will be Carols at the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square

Christmas Meal Monday 28th November

This years Christmas Meal will be held on Monday 28th November- 7:00pm at Squiffy’s at The Jolly Coopers.
We have a fixed cost of £23 per head for two courses (Main and Dessert), drinks are at additional cost.

If you would like to book a place you need to bring  £23 (cash or cheque) in an envelope marked with your name, contact number and your food choice from the menu below, to the meeting on Tuesday
