Nominations and how to vote the next committee

At our next meeting on 10th November we will be voting the new committee for 2016.

The following members have been nominated so far

There is still time to nominate more members to the committee so please contact Lesley or Kit with your nomination.

If we receive more than 8 nominees a vote will take place and the top 8 will form the new committee. Once the committee is formed all members will have the opportunity to vote for the President from the elected committee.

Craft Evenings at Kits

Would you like to help is craft and make for the WI Christmas Stall at the Lights on Hampton event on Sunday 29th November

Dont forget Kit is running craft evenings on the following dates from 19.30 – 21.30 – 1 Gresham Road

Wednesday 4th November – Knitted finger puppets
Wed 18th November Book folding – Christmas Trees
Tuesday 24th November – Gift Tags, paper punching and stamping

Remembrance Sunday

Every year the Hampton WI place a wreath at the war memorial on Gander Green as part of the Hampton Remembrance Day parade.

Lesley has attended for the past 3 years but would like a break this year and if not break then some company. Are you able to attend on Sunday 8th November and take part in this very important event. Please post here or contact Lesley directly, we would suggest that we have 2 representatives for the group.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
