Once again Chris is hosting the Summer Garden party on July 8th, we will have Pimms, Strawberries and Shortcake as it was so popular last year.
This year to stick with the garden theme we will be running a Plant Swap 
There will also be a photography competition and theme will be ‘Extreme Reading’

This week we welcome Dee Fisher. We will be looking at ways to re-cycle household rubbish. Please bring an old carrier bag.
This is the last meeting before we have our fundraising stall at the Hampton Carnival on Saturday June 14th, Loraine will be looking for volunteers to man the stall and bake cakes for the event
If you have any non perishable items for the stall then please bring them along and hand them to Loraine on Tuesday.
This seems a long time ahead I know. We have been asked to organise the annual craft competition at our group meeting & we have chosen to make it for ‘paper -craft’. It would be lovely if some of our members would enter so Suriya is offering free taster sessions on card making to get you started, & she also has many paper-craft items to sell at very low prices. What a good opportunity to stock up, or start a new hobby! I know that both Suriya & Kit will also be very generous with sharing their skill & experience with any of our members. Please get in touch with Suriya if you are interested-she’s very willing to talk to us about what is to her a way of life!
