This month, we tried our hands -& any other body parts we could -at yoga, care of Linty Wright, a local yoga teacher of long standing. To our delight, a large number of our members brought their equipment & joined in alongside some of Linty’s students. We would like to thank them all for joining us, especially Linty, who gave us a fascinating insight into her life in yoga & enabled us to experience an introduction into this ancient & valuable practice.

YOGA EVENING April 8th
Please join us on Tuesday when Linty Wright, a local well regarded yoga teacher, will tell us about Yoga & you will have the opportunity to try it for yourself. You will be able to try some more demanding postures, or some exercises to enhance health & well being which
are very easy to do in a chair. Of course, you are most welcome to simply watch & listen! If you are going to have a go at the postures please be aware that yoga is usually practised in bare feet, bring a yoga mat if you have one, and wear loose fitting trousers & top-leggings & a tee-shirt will be fine. Also, if you intend to try the more demanding postures, it is advisable not to eat a heavy meal less than two hours beforehand.
