YOGA EVENING April 8th

Please join us on Tuesday when Linty Wright, a local well regarded yoga teacher, will tell us about Yoga & you will have the opportunity to try it for yourself. You will be able to try some more demanding postures, or some exercises to enhance health & well being which seniorsyogaare very easy to do in a chair. Of course, you are most welcome to simply watch & listen! If you are going to have a go at the postures please be aware that yoga is usually practised in bare feet, bring a yoga mat if you have one, and wear loose fitting trousers & top-leggings & a tee-shirt will be fine. Also, if you intend to try the more demanding postures, it is advisable not to eat a heavy meal less than two hours beforehand.

STANLEY PICKER GALLERY VISIT

Part of Kingston Uni, this gallery is also open to the public. Please let us know if you would you be interested in a free guided exhibition visit and tutored ceramics workshop-to also include refreshments. It would possibly last about 2.5 hours.

Restaurant Trip

Last week we had an evening meal together at the Moat House Hotel in Sunbury. Sadly Raksha was the only member apart from the committee who was able to attend. The food was enjoyable-Loraine had found a very good deal for us-& we had a good evening chatting away-don’t we always! So thank you to Loraine for doing all the organising-if you wanted to come with us & couldn’t, I’m sure there will be another opportunity soon.
