We are always keen to know what our members like to do at our monthly meetings. I have compiled a very short 10 question survey of some of our current ideas. The Committee would love to know what you think, so please do click the link below and take part.
Hope you have all had a great summer break and are looking forward to our first meeting of the new term. As shown on the programme the very talented Kit Tarry is going to show us how to create ‘Exploding Boxes’ I know as much or as little as you so you’ll have to come along and see for yourself. Our refreshments manager Pauline promises us another naughty but scrumptious treat to go with our tea, check out the recipes page.
As always we meet in the upstairs room at the White House, please arrive at 7.15pm so we can make a start at 7.30pm. And bring a friend as new members are always welcome.
I hope you’re enjoying this rather pleasant summer we’ve been having! The gardens are looking well & the fruit & veg is ripe & wonderful-just at it’s best for making jam & chutney, don’t you think!!
Hampton WI Homemade Jams
So-just a gentle reminder that if you have any fruit in your garden, or on your allotment, or you could buy a little-we would be very pleased if you could make a few pots of jam or chutney for our Christmas Fair stall! I know-I can hear all the groans-but now is the time!
If you can’t do that-you will still be able to contribute some cakes-we make a lot of money selling small cakes-or (or even AND ) help on the stall. We hope to see you all, looking tanned & gorgeous, at the September meeting
