Tea Tasting at T2Tea in Kingston

We know you all love a cuppa, but do you know your Matcha from your Chai?

Join us at T2 in Kingston on Wednesday 22nd July at 18:15 to explore the varied tastes of tea. Whether you like yours black or green, smoky or fruity, hot or chilled, Gaurav and his team will have something for you to try. They will talk us through different brews from around the globe, with plenty of tasting opportunities, recipes and possibly the chance to create your own Matcha blend.

We will finish about 19:15, you are then free to head off back home or join us for an evening drink/snack at one of Kingston’s riverside establishments!

Weather Watch for the Garden Party

Tomorrow evening is our Garden Party, we need to pray to the weather gods to keep the rain away its currently looking OK ish so lets keep our fingers crossed.

It will take place come rain or shine and we have a second venue should it rain. Bring a garden chair if the weather is good.

We will make a final decision on the venue at 4 pm tomorrow and publish here. And we will have notices at each venue in case you end
up at the wrong one.

July Centenary Competition – 1915 – 2015

We encourage all our members to enter something that you have made. It could be in the form of knitting, cross stitch, baking, stitching, photo album, card making, candle making anything at all, and any size. Let those creative minds be free.

Competition Rules:

The item entered for the competition must have been made by the WI member.

It needs to have one of the following on it somewhere

WI 1915 – 2015

WI Centenary 2015

WI 100

All entries will receive a special acknowledgement for entering this competition and the winner will receive the latest WI Centenary cookbook.
