Hope everyone has enjoyed Christmas and the new year celebrations.

Our next meeting is on 13th January and we are sticking to a tried and tested formula of informal quizzes that you can dip in and out of or of you prefer its just a time for a natter.

Our last meeting of the year is on Tuesday.

Suriya and Kit will be demonstrating some Christmas crafts and you all get the chance to make a card and matching tag.  You will also be able to practice some gift wrapping so bring something small to wrap.

If you have a Christmas craft idea you like to share then please bring it along.

As its Christmas we also have some wine and mince pies. 

Make and Bakes

Sunday 30^th November  is the Christmas Lights on event in Hampton, and we need plenty of  Makes and Bakes to sell.  They can be dropped off on Sunday after 2.30pm to the stall which will be located on the Green.  Please label your containers if you would like them returned. 

 

Glenys has offered to collect any if you are not able to drop them off but please only if you really can’t  deliver (call 07836 342439)

Those that have offered help will be contacted by Kit in the next couple of days and if you can’t help out but do have time to pop by and see us that would be lovely.

 

Road Closures

To make the biggest Christmas event in the area safe for everyone we have requested road closures in the village on Sunday 30 November between 3.00pm and 7.30pm.

The roads affected will be Station Road (from junction of Percy Road to junction of High Street), Ashley Road (from junction of Percy Road ), Station Approach, Tudor Road (bridge only) and Wensleydale Road (to junction with Gloucester Road).
