At the next meeting we will be asking you to vote in favour or against both resolutions for the WI Annual Meeting 2017. This is just a yes or no vote; you can vote for either, one, or neither of them. It will be a majority vote by show of hands. Members only please. Thank you to all our lovely bakers for some scrummy cakes this year. We need one more volunteer before our Summer break-please sign up if you could make our cake in June. Oh- but if you’d like to be one of our star bakers after the summer-don’t let me put you off! Form in Info Folder.
Carnival June 10th
How about starting to think about baking or jam making for Carnival on June 10th? Or making bunting? Not long now! Please sign up for that too; we need more people for everything! Go on-it’s fun I promise! As a WI we are supposed to engage with the local community-lets help make this new Carnival a huge success.
Classic Cars on the Green is on Sunday July 2nd & we will be having a stall, as we did last year-second hand books CDs & DVDs and even old Tape Cassettes as they are popular with the classic owners as their cars don’t have CDs. So please have a rummage at home & see if you have any you would like to be rid of. We would also be pleased if a few people could help on the day.
Car Boot Sale
Of course if you have anything else you’d like to get rid of, within reason!- don’t forget we hope to have a Car Boot Sale later in the summer. If you have any items for that please watch for further information.
