Hampton Carnival 10th June 12pm-4pm

We are less that a week away from this years Hampton Carnival. Here is a reminder of what we are doing and what help is needed.

Cake Stall – On the field at Nursery Square.

We will be selling our usual home bakes, chutneys and jams. Please bring your goodies to the field area on Saturday morning.  If you can stay and help decorate the stall that would be even better as we have a trophy to defend.   If you can help with selling in the afternoon, please let Kit know so that we can put you on to the rota.

Picnic area/tea and cake stall – Nursery Square

This year there will be a designated picnic area in Nursery Square and the Combined Hampton WIs are providing the tea, coffee and cakes.  It’s a huge task for us and the committee have been busy planning and arranging all the equipment and supplies.  We still need your help on the day.  In the morning to set it up and in the afternoon to serve. Its not too late to put your name on the rota, just give Kit a call or send her an email or text.

We have been asked to run and judge a public cake decorating competition, open to all ages.  The theme is ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’ entrants are asked to submit a set of three decorated individual cakes eg fairy cakes/cup cake. Full details on how to enter and all  the rules can be found in the post at the top of this page. Dont forget to spread the word as this is a public competition and it will be great to have lots of entries.
