Welcome back after our summer break. On Tuesday our speaker is our very own paper crafting expert, Suryia Goodlett. Suryia has been recognised as a National Federation craft tutor for a number of years now and we are thrilled she is demoing her latest creative ideas on her home turf. There’s a ‘make’ to take home too.
We have a few tickets left for the Spelthorne Group meeting on Friday 22nd and I will be selling them on Tuesday night. Cost is £4.00.

u are all enjoying your summer. September is creeping up on us and Hampton WI will soon be back in full swing with meetings and events.
I have 10 tickets for the annual gathering of WIs in the Spelthorne Group. Each year a different WI act as hosts, our hosts for 2017 are Sunbury WI. The venue is Ashford Community Centre and tickets are £4. See the photo for details of the evening’s entertainment and the other WIs involved. Please contact me if you would like me to reserve you a ticket, you can pay me at our first meeting in September.
A key feature of this annual event is the competition. This year’s theme is ‘Homemade Hats’ – I will send out a separate blog post about this – watch this space!
Another WI ‘end of term’ approaches.
