Topic is ‘Having fun with your phone’s camera’. Some top tips on improving your photos and the opportunity to take some fun photos on the night. Members, please bring your phones with you and don’t forget you mugs and raffle money.

On Tuesday 14th we welcome Lesley Alexander. Lesley and her team of volunteers create many of the incredible costumes worn by the actors of Teddington Theatre Company at the local Hampton Hill Theatre.

Currently working on historical costume for The Madness of King George III she will be revealing secrets of the magic of her often unsung team’s backstage hard work.

Expect funny stories, actual costumes to examine and answers to ‘how do actors manage quick changes’, ‘where do you source the fabric for historical costumes’ and more.

We are planning a theatre outing to see The Madness of George III at Hampton Hill Theatre on Tuesday 7 March – opening night! Using the theatre’s group booking scheme we are able to offer our members tickets at just £10. We will take names and the money at the February meeting on 14th.
